J. Laurine Cote

J. Laurine (Johnson) Cote, 98, of Plainville, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Apple Rehab of Farmington Valley in Plainville. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Peter Wilfred Cote, who predeceased her in 1969.

Laurine was born on November 26, 1918 in Schreiber, Ontario, Canada, daughter to the late Albert and Rachel (Good) Johnson. She is survived by her son, Anthony A. Cote and his wife, Bonnie; her seven grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Lorne B. Testori; her daughter, Evelyne J. Gaudet and her husband, Basil; her brother, Ivan Johnson; and her two sisters, Ruth Traer and Wilma Fox.

A Graveside Service in Celebration of Laurine’s life will be held privately at the convenience of her family. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Peter, in Saint Thomas Cemetery in Southington.
