William C. "Bill" Sheehan

William C. “Bill” Sheehan, loving son and brother, 55, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Hartford Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He is now reunited with his beloved mother, Janice (Ostrout) Sheehan.

Bill was born July 1, 1963 in Hartford, son to William R. and the late Janice (Ostrout) Sheehan. He graduated from the former Penney High School in East Harford and continued his education at UCONN, graduating with a bachelor’s degree. Bill worked as a clerk for the USPS for over 20 years. He was an avid bowler for many years.

Bill is survived by his father, William R. Sheehan and his wife, Patricia; his sister, Sharon (Sheehan) Berardi and her husband, Frank; his step-sister, Pam Mozzicato and her husband, Joseph; his step-brother, Paul Whitman and his wife, Bonnie; his nephews, Peter and Christopher Whitman; and several other extended family members and circle of friends. He was predeceased by his step-brother, Roger Whitman Jr.

Funeral Services in celebration of Bill’s life will begin on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 9 AM from Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at the Church of Saint Dominic, 1050 Flanders Rd, Southington. Burial with committal services will follow in Peacedale Cemetery, 155 James P. Casey Road, Bristol. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Bailey Funeral Home on Thursday, February 7 from 6 to 8 PM.
