Wanda Sue (Hyatt) Keller

Wanda Sue (Hyatt) Keller, 71 of Plainville, passed away Thursday December 14, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard B. Keller.

Sue was born July 22, 1946 in Oneonta, Alabama a daughter of the late Manley and LeeAnner (Wade) Hyatt and was a longtime Plainville resident. She was a very lovable woman, who was always known as Nana or Mom. Along with her family, Sue fostered handicapped children for many years. She enjoyed reading, word searches, baking and spending time with her family, but mostly Sue was looking forward to becoming a great grandmother.

Sue leaves her daughters, Catherine S. Simons and her husband Shawn of Plainville and Virginia L. Keller of Bristol, her grandchildren, Brandy E. Pavano and her husband Michael of Berlin, Gi Simons and Yelafer Cintron both of Plainville and Elisabeth T. Miano of Bristol, her great grandson, Daniel R. Pavano, who is due in April, her brother, Veston Hyatt and his wife Sarah of Steele, Alabama and many nieces and nephews. Sue was predeceased by her daughter Dorothea Keller.

Family and friends may gather at the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a service in celebration of Sue’s life beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Plainville West Cemetery.
