Todd Darryl Vaillancourt

Todd Darryl Vaillancourt, 37, of Southington, passed away Sunday November 25, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Todd was born July 9, 1981 in Bristol a son of John Irving and Linda Sylvia (Draper) Vaillancourt and was a longtime Southington resident. He was a graduate of Southington High School and continued his education at Tunxis Community College earning his Associates Degree. He loved going to the movies and taking walks on warm, sunny days with his sister, watching the Huskies play basketball with his dad and watching television shows with his mom. Todd had a soft spot in his heart for cats; he especially loved his feline companions Yabbi and Mya. He was also a big fan of music, with his favorite artists being Green Day and Elton John.

Besides his parents John and Linda of Southington, he leaves his sister Cheryl Jackson and her husband Chris of Avon, his nephew, Griffin Jackson of Avon, his aunt and uncle Dory and John Hill of Avon, his cousins, Leslie Skor of Avon, Linnea Hill of Coventry, David Hill of Virginia and Laura Hill of Newington. Todd was predeceased by his brother, Darryl and his grandparents, Marjory Vaillancourt and Sylvia and Wesley Draper.

Family and friends may gather at the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville on Friday November 30, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with words of remembrance being shared at 5:30 p.m. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Todd’s name may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society 701 Russell Road Newington, CT 06111.
