Richard Putnam Tribute

Richard N. Putnam, beloved brother and uncle, 63, of Bristol, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 a day before his 64th birthday at Countryside Manor in Bristol. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Carol (Lewkewich) Putnam, who predeceased him.

Richard was born December 8, 1954 in Glens Falls, New York, son to the late Raymond Putnam and Marguerite (Charlebois) Cleaves. He worked in transportation as a bus driver for many years in New York.

Richard is survived by his sisters, Debbie Wood and her husband, Wes, of Plainville, Jeanne Miller and her husband, Michael, of Rocky Hill, his brother, Frank Cleaves, of New Britain, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services will be held privately. There are no calling hours. Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville is assisting the family with arrangements.
