Mary Lucille (Depinto) Sisson

Mary Lucille “Ceil" (DePinto) Sisson, 96, wife of the late Clarence Sisson, passed away Monday November 13, 2017 at Apple Health and Rehab of Farmington Valley in Plainville, where she had resided for the past several years. She was the daughter of the late John and Pasqualina (Monofi) DePinto.

She is survived by her son John and his wife Kathryn of Plainville, Grandchildren Paul Sisson and his wife Amanda of Bristol, Marc Sisson of West Palm Beach, Florida, Karyn Wyskiel and her husband Mark of Bristol, great grandchildren Taylor and Landon Sisson and Lena and Tyler Wyskiel, her sister Betty Zita and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Anna Conti, Paulina Catalina, Rose Kelly, Marion Goodrich, Angelina DePinto, Margaret Serantino and Louise Tufano, her brothers, Albert, George, James, Jerry, Louis, John DePinto and Harold DePianta.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses, aides and staff members at Apple Rehab of Farmington Valley and Seasons Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care of Mary.

Funeral services in celebration of Mary Lucille’s life will be held on Thursday beginning at 9:00 a.m. from the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville to Our Lady of Mercy Church 94 Broad Street in Plainville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery in New Britain. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
