Marilyn Paradis

Marilyn Paradis, 79, of Bristol passed away peacefully on December 24, 2019 at Ingraham Manor of Bristol.

Marilyn was born on May 28, 1940 daughter to the late Leland Peryer and the late Leona Smith Jones. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time watching her television shows, Let’s Make a Deal, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune. Marilyn also found joy in playing Bingo and card games. Her favorite pastime was hosting gatherings at her house where she would enjoy being in the company of family and friends. Despite her many years of battling MS, Marilyn lived a life full of love in high spirits and never let the battle get the best of her. Her grandson Jacob was the biggest surprise for her and made her so happy.  

Marilyn is survived by her son, Kenneth B. Paradis and his wife, Jennifer C. Roy-Paradis, of Terryville; her grandson, Jacob B. Paradis, of Terryville; her brother, James Peryer and his wife, Alice Peryer, of FL; and some extended family members.

A graveside gathering will be held at 10 AM on Friday, January 3, 2020 in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley Street, New Britain, CT. There are no calling hours. Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville is assisting the family with arrangements.
