Linda Daigle Tribute

Linda C. (Pelletier) Daigle, 70, of Plainville passed away in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was the loving wife of 53 years to Reno C. Daigle Sr.

Linda was born on November 16, 1947, in St. John, Maine, daughter to the late Lezime and Leona (LaFrance) Pelletier.  She attended St. John Convent and later went on to attend Fort Kent High School up until she became a mother to her first born son. Linda held multiple miscellaneous careers in her life, including but not limited to, selling Avon products, working as a secretary for the Narcotics Enforcement Officers Association, and working for Katherine’s Uniform shop. Above all, Linda found her niche in being a homemaker and a mother. She adored her children and eventually was blessed with grandchildren whom she also adored. She was a longtime resident of Plainville and a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church. Linda had an eye for fashion and a talent in interior decorating, which helped in making a beautiful home for her family to enjoy. Linda was an avid collector, especially dolls. She will be missed dearly by her family as they cherish the memories they have shared together.

In addition to her husband, Linda leaves behind her children, Reno P. Daigle Jr., of Thomaston and Nelson Daigle, of Plainville; her grandchildren, Trevor, Noah, and Keegan Daigle; and her siblings, Perley Pelletier, Verna Cyr Fortin, Hedwidge Savarina Eskite, Ethel Volinski, Clifton Pelletier, and Richard Pelletier. She was predeceased by her son, Warren Daigle and her siblings, Milford Pelletier, Jenny Dodge, and Mark Pelletier.

A memorial mass in celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Monday, April 30 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 94 Broad St., Plainville. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 29 from 4 to 6 PM at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville.
