Judith (Searle) Lynch, 85, of Bristol, died suddenly on February 10, 2020 at Bristol Hospital. She was born in New Britain, CT on December 4, 1934 to the late Frank and Charlotte (Daniels) Searle.
Judith grew up in Plainville graduating from Plainville High School class of 1952. She was married for 57 years to David J. Lynch Sr. until his death in 2013. Judith and her husband, David, moved to Bristol from New Britain in 1966 where they spent the rest of their lives.
Judith is survived by her two sons, David J. Lynch Jr., of Bristol and Michael D. Lynch, of Cromwell, her sister, Christine Connelly, of Westerly, RI, her sister-in-law, Kathleen Conlin, of Berlin, her brother-in-law, Cornelius Lynch and his wife, Sharon, of Farmington, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Paul.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 5 to 7 PM and on Saturday, February 15 from 9:30 to 10 AM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad Street, Plainville. A service in celebration of Judith’s life will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, New Britain. In memory of Judith, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607 or to a local animal shelter to help cats in need.
