Christina Joan Wilkinson of Bristol, left this world on March 29, 2019. She was born in Bristol on March 7, 1988 and was the oldest daughter of Janet V. (Dieli) Wilkinson and David W. Wilkinson of Bristol. She attended Bristol Central High School and graduated in 2006.
Christina was a unique personality. Creative and artistically gifted, she was known for her candidness and feisty personality. She experimented with photography and Japanese pop culture. In her own words: “Meow Thar! I am a mother of two beautiful sons named Gabriel Theophilus and Noah Lazarus. I’d rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I’m not. I’m Unique, geeky, crazy, cat lover, artist, gamer girl and proud of it. I love World of Warcraft and shopping. I Love video games, raves, anime, cons and cosplay. I am a couponer too. I love Yoshi Ki. I Love X Japan. Lolita and makeup are also my passion.”
Beside her parents and her two young sons, Christina is survived by her younger sister, Gina Rose Wilkinson White of Danbury, her niece, Elana White and her nephew Caswell White. She is also survived by her aunt Annette Dieli of New York City, her uncles, James Dieli of Berlin, Emanuel Dieli of Southington and John Dieli and Dennis Dieli both of Plainville. She also leaves her extended family Kathy and Butch Lavigne of Bristol. She had many cousins and friends in her life that will miss her. Christina loved cats and leaves her beloved cat Mittens.
Family and friends may gather at the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville on Saturday, April 27 from 12 PM until 1 PM with words of remembrance in celebration of Christina’s life beginning at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions in Christina’s name may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society 701 Russell Road Newington, CT 06111.
