Brian P. Clement

Brian P. Clement, 58, of Plainville, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, June 8, 2017. He was the loving husband for 21 years to Jane (Anderson) Clement.

Brian, who had the “gift of gab” and was a lover of all things Irish, was born on August 18, 1958, in Lynn, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Leo and Mary (Birmingham) Clement. He was a longtime resident of Plainville and communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church. A jack of all trades, he was employed by Lowe’s Home Improvement in Southington where he worked in various departments and developed many enjoyable friendships with co-workers and customers.

In addition to his wife, Jane, Brian is survived by his children whom he adored and of whom he was so proud: his son Nils and his wife Christine, and his daughters Annie Kate and Nora Clement. Other family members include his sister Cheryl Taylor and her husband Norman, his brother Daniel Clement and his wife Sharon, his parents-in-law David and Billie Anderson and his brothers-in-law Chris Anderson and his wife Robin and Peter Anderson and his girlfriend Shelley Creel, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Michael Clement.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21 from 5 to 7 PM at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville. A service in celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brian’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association of CT, 200 Executive Blvd, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
