Betty Fabrizio Tribute

Betty J. (Paradis) Fabrizio, 75, of Burlington, passed away after a lengthy illness on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Bristol Hospital.

Betty was born in 1942 in Caribou, Maine daughter to the late Benjamin and Ida (Michaud) Paradis. She grew up in Caribou graduating from Caribou High School. Betty had a profound love for gardening and if she couldn’t be found in her garden, one may find her in her kitchen baking or cooking. Her lemon meringue pie was a favorite of many people. Betty also enjoyed knitting and would knit a variety of afghans and socks for others. In her former years, Betty was employed at Corotec out of Farmington, working as a bookkeeper and office manager.

Betty is survived by her sister, Jeanette Coty and her husband, Morris, her sister, Liz Kutz, her sister, Marie Rhodes, her sister-in-law, Anne Paradis, and her brother-in-law, Richard Neff; her sons, Tony Fabrizio Sr. and his wife, Cheryl, Peter Fabrizio Sr. and his girlfriend, Krystal, and Matthew Fabrizio Sr. and his wife, Jamie; her grandchildren, Tony Fabrizio Jr., Christine Fabrizio, Matthew Fabrizio Jr., and Peter Fabrizio Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Anthony Fabrizio III, Savannah Gagliardo, Isiah Fabrizio, and Riley Landrette; and several extended family members. She was predeceased by her sister, Bea Ruby and her husband, Earl “Bud” Ruby, her brother, Alfred Paradis, her sister, Joanne Neff, her brother-in-law, Art Kutz, and her brother-in-law, Clayton Gagnon.

In celebration of Betty’s life, family and friends are welcome to gather at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville on Friday, March 30 between 5 and 7 PM. Burial will be held privately.
