Anita S. Mandeville

Anita S. Mandeville, 80, of Farmington, CT, passed away on Sept. 10, 2017, after a long illness.

She was born in Wauregan, CT.  She was predeceased by her parents Blanche and Theodore Mandeville, and her brothers Lucien Mandeville and Alfred Mandeville.

She is survived by a sister, Claire Engelhardt of Tomball, TX, a brother, Louis Mandeville of Plainville, CT., half-brothers, Adrien Mandeville of Willimantic, CT, Andre Mandeville of Terre Du Lac, Missouri, Alan Mandeville of Canterbury, CT and many nieces and nephews.

She attended Putnam Catholic Academy and Central Connecticut State University and was retired after   careers at Aetna and Travelers Insurance Companies. She was an avid volunteer in Hartford County and the catholic churches which she attended. Her catholic faith was an important part of her life. She led a simple but abundant life. She enjoyed travel, reading, music and photography. She treasured the time she spent with family and friends and always made friends wherever she went.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of Saint Patrick in Farmington, CT on October 14th at 11am. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville is assisting with arrangements.
