Stella Levesque

Stella Levesque, 100, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2021 at Touchpoints at Farmington.

Stella was born in Fort Kent, ME on April 8, 1921 to the late Henry and Hattie (King) Gagne. Stella married Aurele Gagnon with whom she had two daughters and later Rosaire Levesque.

Stella was an avid embroiderer and reader who loved to spend summers at her family camp Eagle Lake in Maine. She was a gardener with a great love for flowers who found her greatest joy in her five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her last few years were spend at Touchpoints at Farmington where she enjoyed coloring and received wonderful care from the staff which was made so evident in the special 100th birthday they organized for her.

She is survived by her daughters Laurine (and Mac) Ouellette and Kathleen (and David) Onofrio and brothers Camille (and Pauline) and Leon Gagne. In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by her brother: Sylvio Gagne and her sisters: Leone Pelletier, Emelda Martin, Irene Belanger, Leola Levesque, Celina Winski, Lena Tardiff and Verna Caron.

A memorial service will he held on Friday, May 7th at 11 am at the Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville, CT. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Plainville.
