Shirley Ann Stefanski

PLAINVILLE - Shirley A. Stefanski, 84, loving wife of the late Leon Stefanski for 58 years, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2023, at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Shirley was born on January 3, 1939, in New Britain, daughter to the late Joseph and Alice (Gunther) Gagnon. She worked at the University of Hartford for over 20 years. Shirley is survived by her sons: Robert Stefanski and his wife, Mary, of Avon, and David Stefanski and his wife, Penny, of Rocky HIll; her grandchildren: Leon Stefanski, of Plainville, Emma Stefanski, of Massachusetts, Jacob Stefanski of Bristol, Joshua Stefanski, of Rocky Hill, and Zachery Stefanski, of West Hartford, as well as her best friend of over 60 years, Soni Sperduti, of Plainville. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 169 Farmington Ave., Plainville, CT at 11:00 am.
