BRISTOL - Sara P. Cameron, 96, went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2020 at Cook Willow Health and Rehab Center in Plymouth. She was born April 28, 1924 in New Haven to the late Carmen and Marie (Saffiole) Pisano.
Sara had spent thirty years working at the Hawthorne Inn. An avid quilter, she was a member of the Southington Arts and Crafts Association, the Southington Women's Club and was named an honorary member of the BBB Quilt Guild.
She will be cherished in the memories of her daughters: Barbara Acampora of Bristol and Renna Chalmers of Florida; fourteen grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Cosenza and daughter, Donna Hazen.
A memorial service will be held on April 10th at 10:30 at Faith Bible Church, 168 Unionville Ave., Plainville.
The Bailey Funeral Home of Plainville has been entrusted with arrangements.
