FARMINGTON - Reynold (Ray) Gagnon, 79, passed away on November 15, 2021, at Hartford Hospital. He was born on October 14, 1942 in Fort Kent, Maine to the late Adolphe and Leidy (Deprey) Gagnon.

Ray graduated from Fort Kent Community High School in 1961 and went on to study mechanical engineering at Waterbury State Technical College. He spent his career in the construction industry. Ray enjoyed bike riding, driving his truck, watching NASCAR and spending time with his sweet dog, Sophia.

Ray is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna Pelletier Gagnon, his daughter Laurie Moore and her husband Shawn of Granbury, Texas, his daughter Wendy Formica and her husband John of Block Island, Rhode Island, seven grandchildren - Ashley, Nicholas, Emily, Allison, Abigail, Courtney, and Natalie, and a great-grandson, DJ. He is also survived by his sister Hernelle Pelletier and her husband, Donald, of Fort Kent, Maine, and his brother, Adolphe (June) Gagnon, also of Fort Kent. He is predeceased by his parents, three brothers - Arthur, Donald and Stanley Gagnon, and four sisters - Hilda Prest, Jean Smart, Esther Bowman, and Barbara Castleberry

There will be no visitation and family services will be private.
