PLAINVILLE - Helen P. Thompson, age 97, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Bertrand L. Thompson, Jr.

Helen was born in Bristol on April 12, 1923 to the late Bronislaw (Benjamin) Podchajski (Podhajski) and Wladyslawa (Emily) Zetarski (Zeszotarski).

She was a home maker and an active member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and cribbage with her friends. She was an avid reader and completed two crossword puzzles each day.

Helen is survived by her son Attorney Barry L. Thompson and his wife Therese Pac of Bristol, her daughter Linda A. Procko and her husband Stephen J. Procko of Plainville, 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
