Francis Dorbuck

Francis L. Dorbuck, 95, of Plainville passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Jones) Dorbuck.

He was born in Greenfield, MA, a son of the late William and Theodore (Rosco) Dorbuck. 
Frank graduated from high school in New Britain. After graduating he enlisted in the Merchant Marines. While in the service, he met the love of his life in England and was married after his discharge and moved back to the State.

He was employed for many years at Stanley Works as a machinist. After retiring, he moved back to England. Francis was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy in Plainville and was a member of the Plainville Senior Center. He enjoyed traveling back and forth from the States to England where he made his home for several years and was an avid reader.

Along with his son, Alan and LaTonya Thompson Dorbuck, he leaves one sister, Alice Abate of Newington, and one brother, Leroy and Fran Dorbuck Bristol, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers: Donald, Vincent, Milton, and Richard Dorbuck.
