WATERBURY - Carol Anne Prenez, 75, departed this life on November 1, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born in Waterbury on July 16, 1941 to very loving parents, the late Stanley and Mildred (Prescavage) Vaicaitis.
Prior to her retirement, Carol held a number of positions at Peter Paul in Naugatuck. Namely, she was the time keeper for several years.
Carol was a people-person at heart. She was kind and soft-spoken, and always had time to lend a hand to a person in need even if it was just to lend an ear and to talk. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator.
Carol is survived by her beloved daughter, Dana Prenez and her devoted brother James Vaicaitis.
A Memorial Mass for Carol will be celebrated on a date to be announced at St. Joseph Church, 46 Congress Ave., Waterbury. There are no calling hours. Interment will be private. The Waterbury Funeral Home, 17 Congress Ave., Waterbury, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
