TORRINGTON - Brett W. Bradshaw, 50, died unexpectedly on March 26, 2021, at his home. Brett grew up in Middlebury, CT., and attended Pomperaug High School. He was very involved in sports but his first and forever love was music. He went to California after graduating and became the drummer for Faster Pussycat, touring and experiencing the world while opening for Whitesnake, Ozzy Osborne, Kiss and many others. He lived his dream.
He loved his kids, family and friends like crazy. He was a talented drummer with a passion for music that all three of his children inherited along with his heart of gold. He was loving, fun, kind, caring, goofy, creative, intelligent, handsome and the list goes on... a beautiful, gentle, irreplaceable soul. While his life was cut far too short, he made a lasting impact to those who had the privilege to know him. He will be fiercely loved and missed forever.
He leaves behind his mother Diana Bradshaw, Ocala, Florida; his father Willard Bradshaw, Middlebury; his sister Cheryl Guertin, Waterbury; His son, Tyler Bradshaw, North Dakota; daughter and son, Cheyenne and Lukas Sparrow, California; Mothers of his children: Rhonda Bryl and Aimee Sparrow; Aunt Denise Girard and his Uncle Mark Gelinas, both of Watertown; His best friend, David Dos Santos, Torrington; Kitty, his kitty; and several cousins.
There are no calling hours. His children and immediate family will hold a private service in California at a later date, where he can be at peace amongst the waves and sunshine amongst loved ones. Arrangements have been entrusted to the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford, CT. To leave a message of remembrance, please visit www.baileycares.com.
