WALLINGFORD - Barbara L. Cutts (95) passed away July 21, 2021 at Masonic Health Center. She is now reunited with the 'Love of her life', her husband, Robert Cutts.
Barbara was born in White River Junction, VT and was one of seven children born to Lillian and Ira Parker. She graduated from West Lebanon High School in New Hampshire. When Bob came home from WWII, they were married and lived in Meriden, NH. They moved to Connecticut in 1956 with their two daughters.
Barbara enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader to her daughter Kay's troop at Parker Farms School. She volunteered at Masonic Home and Hospital for many years. You would find her walking the halls with residents, pushing the book cart or helping in PT. She just enjoyed interacting with people. She and Bob enjoyed camping and traveling cross country in their motorhome with their dog KoKo. Many times they took their children and grandchildren on their adventures. They belonged to Silver Squares where they loved square dancing and round dancing with friends.
Barbara leaves behind her two loving daughters; Carol "Kay" Cutts of East Haven, CT and Roberta Lucier and her husband Roy of Wallingford. Her three devoted grandchildren; Michelle Lucier, Matthew Lucier and Robyn Lucier will miss her dearly. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Hill of Sunapee, NH and sister-in-law, Bette Stockwell of Plainfield, NH. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.
Barbara and Bob were active parishioners of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Wallingford for many years and enjoyed the friendships they made. Her family would like the thank the staff of Pond Ridge (Argdunta) for all their love and care they gave Barbara during this past year. They would also like to thank the staff of Ramage 2 and Ramage 6 for the wonderful care given to their mom. 'We will always remember your beautiful smile and the unconditional love you and dad gave to us.'
A memorial service for Barbara is planned for September 4, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church located at 65 N. Main St. in Wallingford. Covid restrictions will be in place. The B.C.
