Ana Rosa "Rosie" Romero

WALLINGFORD - Ana Rosa "Rosie" Romero, 77, departed this life on June 11, 2021 at the CT Hospice of Branford. She was the beloved wife of Mario Romero.
Ana was born in Lares, Puerto Rico on October 2, 1943 to the late Mariano and Ramona (Soto) Correa. Rosie met the love of her life, Mario, during her high school years in Puerto Rico. After being married, they moved to the United States in 1960 and together built a beautiful life. She was the heart and soul of her family. Rosie loved to travel, cook, and also enjoyed gardening. 
Besides her loving husband, Ana is survived by her sons: Angel Romero (Pat), Alex Romero (Robin) as well as her granddaughters: Rebecca Romero and Jennifer Robinson. She will also be missed by her sisters: Carmen Fernandez (Pablo); Blanca Correa; Nilda Zamora (Dennis); and Maritza Correa. She will be cherished in the memories of her great-grandson Declan; Sister-in-law, Lillian Tanch, and Brother-in-law Miguel Romero and family. Besides her parents, Ana is predeceased by her son, Christopher Romero and brother-in- law, Louis Tanch. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Church with interment to follow at St John's Cemetery in Wallingford. Relatives and friends may attend a public visitation on Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street Wallingford.
