William "Bill" T.M. Taylor

William “Bill” T.M. Taylor, originally from Flushing, NY, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving wife Ausrite by his side. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Paul H. and Mildred E. (Mundy) Taylor.

During his working years, he drove tractor trailer trucks, both over the road and locally. He loved to share stories about the many places he had gone. In retirement, Bill enjoyed watching sports and crime investigation shows, especially “COPS with his grandchildren. He was peculiar about his yardwork, because home was his sanctuary. Bill was seldom seen without his dog Thadeus and never missed a cookout with his family.

Bill leaves behind his loving wife Ausrite “Rita” Taylor, with whom he enjoyed life with for 35 years, his daughters, Paula Chretien and Barbara Cheeks and her husband Arthur, his stepdaughter, Dawn Pinard and her husband Jerry, his stepsons, Matthew and Michael Lagasse, his grandchildren, Ryan Pinard and his wife Amber, Stephanie and Emily Pinard, Amanda and Nick Lagasse, Sabrina and Kayla Chretien and Jaden, Avery and Cullen Cheeks, 5 great grandchildren and a special great granddaughter on the way. He also leaves his brother Paul Taylor and his wife Judy, his sisters, Nancy Harrow and Elizabeth Bellucci and her husband Paul and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may gather at the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with words of remembrance to be shared at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society 701 Russell Road Newington, CT 06111 or to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675.
