Vincenzo Raimondo

Vincenzo Raimondo, 78, of Plainville passed away Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Countryside Manor of Bristol, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Betty (Fountaine) Raimondo with whom he shared over 21 years of marriage.

Vincenzo was born January 22, 1939 in Floridia, Italy a son of the late Vincenzo and Salvatric (D’urso) Raimondo. He had worked at Stanley works in New Britain, retiring with over 21 years of service.

Besides his wife Betty, he leaves his daughter Teresa McCall and her husband Kevin of Avon, his step daughters, Lisa Roy and her Fiancé Roger and Brenda Cruz and her husband Dave of Bristol, his grandchildren, Vinnie Drumpus and Caleb and Aubrey Cruz and his brothers and sisters in Italy.

Family and friends may gather at the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a service in celebration of Vincenzo’s life beginning at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately.
