Margaret C. (Cote) Bechard

Margaret C. (Cote) Bechard, 71 of Bristol, passed away Tuesday February 6, 2018 at her home in the presence of her loving family. She was the wife of Claude J. Bechard with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.

Margaret was born March 5, 1946 in Cumberland, Maine a daughter of the late Andrew and Dorothy (Gervais) Cote. Margaret loved reading and following her friends on Facebook. She also enjoyed puzzle books, her magazines and keeping busy on her tablet, but she was most proud of raising her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband Claude, she leaves her daughter Claudia Diakolambrianos and her husband George of Plainville, her grandchildren, Holly Zienka and her husband David, Heather Agudelo and her husband German and Aimee Stackhouse and her husband Justin, her great grandchildren, Faith and Grace Zienka, Genna and Kailyn Agudelo, Kylee Roberts and Juliette Stackhouse, her sisters, Joyce Doody of Maine, Martha Harwood of Livingston, TX and Marie Janowski of Plainville. Margaret was predeceased by her daughter Marlene Plourde.

Funeral services for Margaret with burial in Plainville West Cemetery will be celebrated privately. There are no calling hours. The Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville has care of arrangements.
