Joan Ina (White) Grey

Joan Ina (White) (Theriault) Grey, 77, passed away on March 29, 2017 in Sebring, Florida.

Joan was born March 27, 1940 in New Britain to the late Ralph Erwin and Dorothy Irene (doughty) White. She had worked as a manager for several large retail stores, including Caldor, where she worked for 20 years and later at Terry’s Gift Shop in Southington. Joan loved Nascar races and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and UCONN Women’s Basketball. She enjoyed playing the piano and adored animals.

She leaves her husband of 9 years, Glen Grey and his children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Kenneth Theriault and her children, Patrick Theriault and Lori Theriault.

Family and friends may gather at the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville on Thursday October 12, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a service in celebration of Joan’s life beginning at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately.
