Gloria M. Corriveau

Gloria (Morneault) Corriveau, 62, of Southington, beloved wife for 42 years to Conrad Corriveau, passed away in the comfort of her home on Monday, February 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Gloria was born on July 18, 1955 in New Britain, daughter to Anita (Blanchette) Burkhart and the late Al June Morneault. She was a 1973 graduate of Pulaski in New Britain and a resident of Southington for over 20 years. Gloria found joy in her trips to Vegas, playing slot machines, and playing Sudoku. She also embraced the outdoors, having found interest in both camping and fishing. Gloria had a very positive and upbeat personality, never taking a day for granted and seeing things for all that they were worth. She will be deeply missed by her entire family.

In addition to her husband and mother, Gloria is survived by her children, Melissa Pietrantuono and her husband, Michael, of Naugatuck, Darren Corriveau, of ME, her siblings, Donald Morneault, Sharon Lavertue, Jeffrey Morneault, Kathleen Kowalsky, and Sheila Bouchard, her fur grandbabies, Chaos and Bella, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and extended families.

Funeral Services in celebration of Gloria’s life will begin on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 12 PM from Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 94 Broad St., Plainville. Burial will be held privately. Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home Thursday evening between 5 and 8 PM.
