Edmond A. Cote

Edmond A. Cote, of Plainville, husband of the late Agnes M. (Procto) Cote for 53 years passed away on April 29, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain unexpected.

Born on December 26 in N.H. to Leah (Raby) Cote and Edmond L. Cote, he was a resident of Plainville for 53 years. He worked as a machinist in Plainville. Edmond liked going to the beach and sitting, and enjoyed talking to people. He also liked stock car racing. He loved to build things. He was a great mentor and a great dad. I hope he was a mentor to the people he knew.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 4 from 7 to 9 PM at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville. Funeral services will begin on Friday, May 5 at 9:30 AM from Bailey Funeral Home for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Church of Saint Patrick, 110 Main St., Farmington. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Plainville. Donations in memory of Edmond can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO BOX 758516 Topeka, KS 66675, or to the Hospice Unit at the Hospital of Central CT, 100 Grand St., New Britain, CT  06052, or to the Plainville Food Pantry 19 S. Canal St., Plainville, CT 06062.
