Arline M. Pelletier

July 16, 1942 ~ October 1, 2017 (age 75) 75 Years Old

Arline M. (Ouellette) Pelletier, 75, of Plainville, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. She is now reunited with her loving husband of 48 years, Roland Pelletier, who predeceased her in 2010.

Arline was born on July 16, 1942 in Frenchville, Maine, daughter to the late Raoul and Jeanne (Daigle) Ouellette. A determined hard worker, she worked for as long as she was able to. Formerly, she was employed by Johnson & Johnson working as a supervisor and continued her career as a supervisor in the admitting department at New Britain General Hospital for several years leading into her retirement. Arline defined beauty both inside and out; from always dressing and looking her best to the qualities she possessed as a person. A loving heart of gold, she was always putting others before herself and had an amazing sense of humor. Arline was the "Memere" that earned that title to everyone, not just her own grandchildren. However, her grandchildren held a special spot in her heart that no one else could fill. She will be deeply missed by her entire family and all that crossed paths with her as they continue to cherish the memories they share together.

Arline is survived by her children, Michael Pelletier, of Plainville, James Pelletier and his girlfriend, Debbie Miller, of New Hartford, Liann Pelletier, and Liette Pelletier, both of Bristol; her grandchildren, Sierra Brantley, of Plainville, Cameron Agbaso, of Atlanta, GA and Faith Pelletier, of Southington; her siblings, Yvette Michaud and her husband, Paul "Babe", of Maine, Juliette Pelletier and her husband, Gilles, of Canada, and Robert Ouellette and his wife, Francoise, of Newington; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Roger Ouellette and Gerald Hebert.

Arline’s family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of N-5 at the Hospital of Central CT for the care and comfort provided to Arline and family in their time of need.

Funeral services in celebration of Arline’s life will begin on Saturday, October 7 at 9 AM from Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 94 Broad St., Plainville. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Friday, October 6 between 5 and 8 PM.
