Lauren Grant Tribute

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lauren Gail Grant, a beloved daughter, cousin, niece and friend. Lauren was born on September 28, 1987, in Houston, TX, and departed from this world on February 25, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital after a brief illness.

A staff accountant, Lauren dedicated herself to her work with integrity and precision, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Lauren loved spending time at the beach and with her constant companion, her dog, Callie.

Lauren is survived by her devoted father Vernon Grant and loving mother Paige Grant. She leaves a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and colleagues that will never be filled. She is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents: David and Colleen Harris and Vernon and Ingrid Grant. As we come to terms with this tremendous loss, we find solace in the memories of a remarkable individual who brightened the lives of those around her.

Services for Lauren will be private at the convenience of the family. It is suggested that contributions in her life be directed to the First United Methodist Church of Wallingford Trustees, where Lauren was confirmed.
