  • Christine Reeve: Susan, We thank you for all the wonderful memories, during our childhood you were the leader of your younger 5 siblings and took us on outdoor adventures to so many fun filled places. Taking us on hikes around East Lake, going blueberry, blackberry and starwberry picking. You were like a 2nd Mom to all of us, and always had an adventure in mind along with your smile. As we grew older together, you were my friend, my sister and my conifidant. We did many fun things together, again hiking, bowling, dancing, talking and sharing the day to day tribulations of life. I love you Susan and just can't express the mark you left with your smile, enthusiasm for life, and fun loving attitude of all things great and small. Sheila and Kayla and Tori, along with Roland will have a deep whole to fill without the joy that you brought them all on a daily basis. I can't understand why God took you so soon and suddenly other than, he needs a special angel in his arms to help those in need in heaven. As God knows you spent your life helping others both human and animals. God Bless You, you will be deeply missed my your little sister and everyone else that you touched, especially your neices, Jenna, Taylor & Brianne who you shared many special trips and vacations with overr the last 23 years. Love Christine.

  • Joseph Servidone: My heartfelt condolances to you Roland and all of Susan's family. I have worked closely with Susan for several years and especially this past year, in which she was my right hand person. Her enthusiasm and energy carried into her work as well. She always was willing to take on extra work to make the job of other DMV workers more efficient, and delivered always with her cheerful smile. There was no task she would not take on, I am very, very grateful for the hard work she has done. I will miss her.

  • Vince Cacaci: Roland,
I was so sorry to hear about Susan's passing. As you know, Susan and I had a wonderful working relationship. Nine years working with Susan, I was honored to be referred to as her "work husband." There were never any power play issues - she was a team player and a great support to me. Susan was a very special person. She was always thinking of how she could improve the lives of everyone around her. Her family always came first. Despite all the challenges Susan endured, she was never without a smile.
The angel Susan gave me when I retired sits in my garden gracefully. Now Susan will go to God's garden to be one of his angels.
Susan's passing is so unbelievable to me - I can only imagine how heavy your heart is right now. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

  • Michael Steinson: Susan was an easy-going person. At such times as this, with her passing on, it is good to examine our values and consider where we are and where we are headed. Psalm 39:1-13 is rich with reality, but particuilarly v.4 - LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

  • Diana G.: Susan was the most selfless person I ever met. Her love for her family and concern for others was beautiful. She was wise, honest, loving, generous, kind, funny and full of humility. I will miss her tremendously and will be praying for her family and friends during the confusing and sorrow-filled days ahead. God bless.
