Mrs. Rosemary “Ro” E. Andelin, 77, of Bristol, loving wife of Wayno Andelin, died peacefully on Friday March 28, 2014 surrounded by her family. Rosemary was born in New Britain, CT and was the daughter of the late Mary and Anthony Uccello.
Rosemary chose a nursing career and had a natural talent to treat others with loving tenderness during their times of need. In addition to nursing, she had a special natural ability as a connoisseur of making fine meals and desserts that family members and friends always looks forward to and also with sewing, knitting and quilt making for which she won prizes for. Rosemary had a great love for animals, large and small, and especially for her two cats, Bear and Cricket at the time of her death.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her son Steven and his wife Patti Daigle, grandchildren, Michael, Stanley, Sean, Isiah and Anthony, her sister Lou Ann and her husband Ronald Piccoli and her brother, Donald Uccello. Rosemary was predeceased by her son, Russell Daigle, grandson, Russell Daigle, Jr. and brothers, Marc and Samuel Uccello.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church 94 Broad Street in Plainville. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to the Connecticut Humane Society 701 Russell Road Newington, CT 06011.
