Joan (Bouchard) Raymond, 80, of Augusta, Maine, formerly of Plainville, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014.  She was the wife of the late Gerard Raymond, with whom she shared 21 years of marriage.
Born in Fort Kent, Maine on April 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Lucianne (Saucier) Bouchard.  A resident of Plainville since 1961, she was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church.

She is survived by her children, David and his wife Rachel of Fort Kent, ME, Doreen Raymond of Lake Havasu, AZ, Dean and his  fiancee Debbie of Bristol, Daniel of Plainville, Carol Raymond of Plainville, Cheryl Tighe and her fiancee Steve of Plainville, Nancy Cormier and her husband, Robert of Augusta, ME, with whom she made her home with these past two years, and Linda Lynch and her fiancee, Mike of Westerly, RI.  She also leaves 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren;  three siblings:  Paul Bouchard and his wife Leola, of Fort Kent, ME, Pauline Tiezzi of Meriden, CT, and Joella Bouchard Mundry and her husband, Joe of Bristol CT:  three sister's-in-laws:  Mona Bouchard of Panarama City, CA, Evelyn Bouchard of Hermon, ME and Patsy Bouchard of Fort Kent, ME.  She is also survived by her very dear Aunt Esther Boucher and Aunt Bernadette Daigle both of Fort Kent ME, Aunt Carmen Therriault Bristol, CT and a very dear cousin Bernice Christiansen whom she shared many mischievous adventures with in Conn and many more aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son, Robert Raymond; four brothers Edmund Bouchard, Joel Bouchard, Harold Bouchard, and Herman Bouchard; brother-in-law Mario Tiezzi and sister-in-law Beulah Bouchard.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. from Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St, Plainville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church.  Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  Relatives and friends may gather on Sunday, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
